As we were setting up Martin & Shirley in their Land Rover 110 welcoming us followed by Tannis (sorry about the spelling) the local Police Captain who studied in Scunthorpe being previously a soviet scientist (it’s a long and interesting story) also accompanied by the local farmer laden with fruit, Mellon and lots of Beer, something that was to happen a lot during our stay ...
